PURPOSE:To produce a head restraint without allowing a cushioning material to leak, by inserting one leg of a C-shaped insert into a hollow skin material through one of insert inlets formed in the skin material. CONSTITUTION:By the rotational molding or slush molding that uses a vinyl chloride resin in the form of a paste or powder or by the blow molding that uses a parison, a hollow skin material 1 having a prescribed shape is molded, which is formed with two insert inlets 1a, 1a' in the bottom. The skin material is formed with an inlet 2 through which a cushion material forming raw material, before or after the skin material is formed. An insert 3 comprising a C- shaped hollow pipe is inserted into the skin material, and the cushioning material forming raw material is injected using an injecting apparatus 4. If the skin material is mounted in a foaming mold, it would not become out of shape. |
