SIMPLE TYPE LUBRICATING PUMP

PURPOSE:To enable oil to be securely supplied by arranging a pump block in an annular oil film forming path position formed on the outer peripheral edge of an end surface of a rotor having the lower portion of the outer peripheral portion normally immersed in lubricating oil filled in a oil tank. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical gear 2 has the lower portion of the outer periphery immersed normally in lubricating oil 1, and supported by a support shaft A and rotated. And in a position where an annular oil film 4 of oil attached to the cylindrical gear 2 is formed on the outer periphery of an end face 3 of the gear is held a pump block 6 parallel to and spaced a slight gap C from the end face 3 through a support arm 5 fixed to a casing. The pump block 6 has an oil intake port 7 having the width B and depth of average thickness h1 of the oil film 4 minus the gap C for receiving the annular oil film 4 and is provided with a tapered key-like groove 8 shallowed sequentially from the oil intake port and an oil reservoir 10.
