PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent cycle characteristics, stability, and discharge capacity of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that uses lithium or a lithium alloy as the negative electrode active material and a lithium salt as the electrolyte by using dipyridyl salt as the positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION:The secondary battery in the headline is a battery obtained by using dipyridyl salt as the positive electrode active material, in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that uses lithium or a lithium alloy as the negative electrode active material and a lithium salt as the electrolyte. For example, 4,4'-dipyridyl HPF6 salt and the like can be used as the dipyridyl salt that is used as the positive electrode active material. In addition, when the dipyridyl salt is used as the positive electrode active material, it can be used by mixing a conductive aid such as carbon black. It is recommended that the concentration of lithium chloride in the electrolytic solution be within the range of 0.1-4mols/l. |
