PURPOSE:To measure the rate of inclusion of undissolved component continuously, by measuring tar pitch picked up from a plant piping, thereafter dissolving the pitch, supplying the dissolved pitch to filter paper, drying the filter paper after filtering, measuring the filter paper, and subtracting the weight of the filter paper before the filtering from the measured weight. CONSTITUTION:At first, liquid tar pitch in a pipe 1 is circulated in a circulating line comprising a pipe 2a, a cylindrical pick up device 2, and a pipe 2b. Then, the device 2 pushing a sample of a present amount into a dissolving tank 4. The sample in the tank 4 is dissolved into a solvent by the vibration of an ultrasonic wave vibration tank 5. Thereafter, the sample is made to flow to a filtering tube 6. In the tube 6, the sample solution is filtered by a filter paper 6a, which is dried and measured beforhand. Thereafter, the filter paper 6a is sent to a drying tube 13 and dried. Then, the weight of the filter paper is measured by a balance 12. As a result, the weight of the undissolved component is obtained. Then, the rate of inclusion of the undissolved component is computed based on said weight, the preset sample volume, specific gravity and the reduced amount of the filter paper. |
