PURPOSE:To make an efficient use of a limited space, by disposing an electric unit on the side of the cylinder head, disposing a starting motor on the opposite side of the cylinder head in respect of a crankshaft, and disposing a control link under the starting motor. CONSTITUTION:An upper, a middle and a lower, three ignition coils 43 connected with ignition plugs 42 of each cylinder and an electric unit for a CDI igniting means 44 are fixed to the right-side face of an engine body 20 located on the side of the cylinder head 15, and a starting motor 45 is disposed on the opposite side of the cylinder head 15 in respect of a crankshaft 38, i.e., on the front side of the engine body 20. Further, a throttle valve actuating link mechanism serving as an engine control link is disposed downwardly of the starting motor 45. Therefore, the entire region of a limited space located at one side of the engine body and surrounded by a cowling can be used efficiently as a region for disposing the electric unit, the starting motor and the engine control link. |
