The cleaning screw is mounted on a fixed or mobile chassis, preferably inclinable. It comprises a first Archimedean screw 3 receiving at one end 1 the cereals to be transferred, a second screw 4, coaxial with the screw 3 and having a diameter substantially greater than that of the latter and rotating with it in a chamber 5 of large volume, a third Archimedean screw 12, similar to the first screw 3; this screw 12 drives the cleaned cereals into the chamber 5 by the suction of a turbine 9 mounted in the said chamber. The screw is more especially intended for the transfer of grain, cereals for example, which are still loaded with numerous impurities after their threshing in the harvester, into a silo, granary or other place; the screw can be directly coupled to a harvester. It also provides the advantage of being very easily moved from one point of work to another, which is economically very advantageous. <IMAGE>
