PURPOSE:To avoid mingling of the air inside a transformer and prevent operation stoppage of the transformer and deterioration of the transformer oil quality by using syringe needle to extract the air. CONSTITUTION:A syringe needle 9 is inserted between a flange 3a and a packing 8 of the flange between an upper valve 3 and a connecting pipe 6 which connects the valve 3 to a relay 4. The relay 4 is reattached while the upper and lower valves 2, 3 are closed and then the lower valve 2 is opened to introduce oil 5 into the relay 4 to fill the relay 4 with the oil. The air in the relay 4 is pushed out by the oil and transferred from the top part of the relay 4 into the connecting pipe 6. A vacuum pump 10, connected to the syringe needle 9, is driven to extract the air in the connecting pipe 6 and the air in the upper valve 3. After the discharge of the air is finished, then the oil is discharged and the oil flow can be observed in a glass tube 9a. After the oil flow in the glass tube is confirmed, the syringe needle 9 is slowly withdrawn. With this constitution, mingling of the air into the oil at the time of reattachment work is avoided. |
