Then, an original pressing detection switch 25 turns on. The fixed position of the platen is detected with a switch 22 after a timer, etc., are used to detect whether the original is present or not, and then a paper feed roller 6, exposure lamp 20, electrostatic charger 15, etc., start operating to take a copy as specified. The platen 2 starts being returned to the fixed position, and the lamp 20, charger 15, etc., are turned off once the switch 22 is turned off to enter an idling state until a new original is set or until a copy start switch 8 is pressed. |
