PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit configuration and sending and receiving a signal, by providing a data discriminating circuit in a control part, and operating a repeat key by a signal in the same way as a regular key-in operation. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard part 1 is a processor of character information and contains a data key groups, a function key group and a repeat key. A discriminating circuit 21 of a control part 2 decides whether an input of a repeat key from an encoded signal corresponding to a key exists or not, and decides whether its input code can be an object of the repeat key operation or not. When the circuit 21 has detected a key input which is an object of the repeat operation, a code signal of its key is held temporarily in a buffer memory circuit 22. When this circuit 21 has detected an input of the repeat key, the encoded signal held in the circuit 22 is fetched, and processing of the encoded signal is executed. |
