<p>PURPOSE:To allow the measurement of transmission amount of transmission lines I , IIto conduct by a station at one side by transmitting a control signal from a terminal station A, allowing a terminal station B to connect the transmission lines I , II in loop, inserting a stabilizer and specifying the transmission level of the terminal station B. CONSTITUTION:The transmission lines I , II are connected directly to the terminal station B connected to the transmission lines I , II to be measured or connected through the stabilizer 22 by means of a changeover switch 20 and a control signal is detected by a detector 19 so as to drive the changeover switch 20. The switch 20 and the detector 19 are provided in the station B. The terminal station A is provided with an oscillating section 1' generating the control signal and a signal for measuring transmission amount and a level meter 6', and after the control signal is transmitted and the transmission lines I , II are connected directly to form a loop, the signal for measurement is transmitted so as to measure the total transmission amount of the transmission lines I , II. Then the control signal changes over the switch 20 so as to insert the stabilizer 22, and the level of the measuring signal is brought into a specified level by using the stabilizer 22 so as to measure the transmission amount of the transmission line II. The transmission amount of the transmission line is obtained from both measurements.</p> |
