PURPOSE:To determine accurately the gain variation error of a sensor system, by comparing the value of a signal given by a steering force sensor with the value of a signal given from sensing when the gain is normal, integrating the time exceeding it, and by determining the error on the basis of deviation of the integrated value from the set value. CONSTITUTION:Voltage signal from a steering force sensor 3 is fed into comparators 5, 6 through an amplifier 4 and converted into two values through by comparing with the set voltages VH, VL. When the output of either comparator 5, 6 is at H level, CLOCK signal is fed into an up-down counter 9 and a counter 10 through a gate circuit 7. The offset voltage of the abovementioned amplifier 4 is changed by an offset volage adjusting circuit 17 in accordance with the signal level obtained by D/A converting 16 the output from No.1 latch circuit 13 in connection with this counter 9. The gain of the amplifier 4 is changed by a gain adjusting circuit 19 in accordance with the signal level obtained by D/A converting 18 the output from No.2 latch circuit 14 in connection with the counter 10. |
