PURPOSE:To improve the isolation and return loss characteristics by coupling a cavity resonator having a single terminal and a cavity resonator in which a resistor having a prescribed length of a line is connected between adjacent terminals among plural terminals. CONSTITUTION:The cavity resonator 11 has a coupling terminal 13 and a discoid antenna 14 coupled through electric field with the terminal, and is connected to the cavity resonator 12 having plural coupling terminals 15a-15n, antennas 16a-16n through magnetic field coupling and a coupling rod 17. The resistor 20 with a line 21 having a length of lambdagXN/2 (lambdag is a wavelength on a base plate and N is an integral number) is each connected between adjacent coupling terminals at the bottom plate of the resonator 12. A power supplied from the terminal 13 is distributed and outputted repectively to coupling terminals 1-8. Since the amplitude, phase of output waves obtained at the terminals 1-8 are all indentical and the potential difference is zero, no effect is given on the input/output characteristic between the terminal 13 and each terminal of the resonator 12, and since the leaked power among the terminals 1-2-1-8 is consumed by the resistor 20, the isolation characteristic and the return loss characteristic are improved. |
