NEW RADIOPROTECTOR AGENTS HAVING AN AMINO-THIOALKYL STRUCTURE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates particularly to chemical compounds having the formula (I), R1-CO-NR3-[A]-S-R2 wherein R1 is a radical corresponding to an amino acid R1-COOH, [A] is an alkylene radical at C2 or C3 which may be substituted by C1-C3 alkyl radical, a hydroxy radical, a hydroxy carbonyl or -COR radical wherein R is an amino radical or -NH-CH2-CO2-H, R2 is a protecting radical for the thiol function which releases the thiol function in vivo, R3 is hydrogen or, bound to the group R2, forms a protection cycle protecting the thiol function; as well as the salts of those compounds with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. The invention also relates to the application of those compounds as radioprotector agents and a method for the preparation thererof.
