<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a system power source from overloading or fully interrupting by limiting the rotating speed drop of a shaft for driving a generator when the rotating speed of the generator drops lower than the allowable value by the output of a shaft generator. CONSTITUTION:The output of a synchronous generator 1 coupled to a propeller shaft is converted through a rectifier 2, a DC reactor 3, and a separately-excited inverter 4 into an AC power of the constant voltage and constant frequency, and supplied to a power system 7. The power detection signal from a power detector 18 and the auxiliary set signal from an auxiliary setter 21 are positive, and the speed detection signal from a frequency detector 12 are negative, and applied to an adding point 22. A polarity discriminating comparator 24 operates the limit speed detection relay 26 only when the addition output is negative, applies a signal to a propeller shaft speed controller 29 so as not to decrease the rotating speed of the propeller shaft.</p> |
