<p>An electrical connector for terminating flat multiconductor cable has a base (12) supporting a plurality of insulation-piercing contacts (14) and includes a cover (46) having ledges (54) disposed in non-interfering relation to the contact pattern and adapted to retain marginal portions of the cable (not shown).
