PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a demodulator by using a reference signal space rotated by a prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION:A reference signal generating section 20 generates the reference signal space rotated by a prescribed angle. A received signal subject to line equalization outputted from an equalizer 5 is compared with the reference signal from the generating section 20 so as to decide an estimating value of the received signal. A simple boundary deciding formula is used because the code of the received signal is decided by using the reference signal space phase-rotated in this way, and also the complicated constituting rotating the phase of the received signal is not required thereby simplifying the constitution of the demodulator. |
