PURPOSE:To aim at a significant improvement in the safety of a car, by using a characteristic point existing between salfaligning torque and tire axial load, and thereby detecting a cornering limitation in advance under extensive conditions even if the running condition is varied. CONSTITUTION:In wheels 2a-d, sensors 3a-d detecting the turning force and torque produced in wheels are being built in these corresponding wheels 2a-d. As for speed sensors 3a-d, a six-component measuring device or the like is used. Each output of these sensors 3a-d is set down as an input signal for a data processing circuit 4 and calculates a cornering limitation, inputting it into a warning device 5 and informing a driver of the cornering limitation. Owing to characteristics in a time differential signal in tire load and selfaligning torque in time of running, the running tire axial load grows larger than the stop axial load and, what is more, a time differential value becomes positive. |
