<p>PURPOSE:To make display luminance correspond to signal levels and facilitate the recognition of a signal by converting a luminance signal according to plural level signals and sending it to a color CRT. CONSTITUTION:A converting circuit 4 outputs a value 5 at a red signal level, a value 2 at a yellow signal level, a value 3 at a green signal level, and a value 2 at a blue signal level. Its sent value is converted by a D-A converting circuit 5 into a voltage, which is impressed as a bias voltage to the grid terminal of the color CRT3. Then, when the grid voltage is in proportion to a luminance level, signals of respective levels are displayed in 5:4:3:2 luminance in order from red. While colors other than yellow each use one electron gun, a yellow part uses two electron guns for display, so its value is 4.</p> |
