摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a photomultiplier tube having multiplication rate which is hardly influenced by the fluctuation of magnetic field by constructing such that the center lines of grids for forming a meshed dynode will cross on a same face. CONSTITUTION:A dynode mesh 5 is composed of copper where countless square holes are arranged regularly in grid. The pitch of said holes is 25mum and antimony-cesium layer is formed on the surface. Said meshed dynode 5 is formed by performing copper galvanization onto a glass plate having countless grooves crossing perpendicularly while etched with the pitch of the meshed dynode hole such that all cross points of center lines of grid will exist on a same plane while the ridge and the bottom face will also exist on the same plane. Then said dynode 5 is arranged in a photomultiplier tube such that the ridge will come at the photoelectric face side. |
