PURPOSE:To make the structure of a heat exchanger free from torsion defect by bending a refrigerant pipe to which many sheet fins are closely attached and fixed zigzag, making refrigerant pipe pitch zigzag by twisting the curved parts of the pipe and making the height of the fins uniform. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant pipe 13 to which many sheet fins 12 are closely attached and fixed at specified interval is bent zigzag. Bent parts 19 of the pipe are twisted to make the pipe pitch zigzag, and at the same time, the height of the fins is made uniform. The relation between, L, l and p is made L=(l<2>+p<2>)<1/2> where L is initial bending pitch of the pipe, l is final pitch and p is twisting distance. As the refrigerant pipe 13 is arranged zigzag, ratio of heat exchange is high, and curved parts of the pipe become long, and deffects such as flattening, cracking etc. that generate at the time of bending and twisting can be prevented. |
