<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a load given to a floating head slider by a suspension in both directions to increase and decrease it. SOLUTION: When adjusting a load given to a slider 20 by a suspension 10, the suspension 10 is held in the state where external force is not applied to the suspension 10 in a direction where the suspension 10 bends. In this state, the position of a load beam 11 is measured by using a position measuring instrument 51, the pitch angle of the load beam 11 is obtained from information on the position, and then the irradiation conditions of a laser beam are determined from the pitch angle. The laser beam is irradiated from a front side or a backside to the bent parts 11R and 11L of the load beam 11 of the suspension 10 according to the irradiation conditions.</p> |
