PURPOSE:To prevent leakage or storage of fluid by applying demolding agent on the outer face of a vented ball rotatable in the body to open/close the fluid path then injecting macromolecular substance into the gap between the outer face and the inner face of body and hardening. CONSTITUTION:After applying demolding agent onto the surface of a ball 2, macromolecular substance 8 is filled from a seat section 7 into the gap between the inner face of the body 1 and the ball 2 and hardened. Macromolecular substance 8 is entirely filled except a space 10 produced through the locus of the open section of a through-hole of the ball 2. Epoxy resin mixed with hardener having low heat production, inorganic filler and flexible resin, as required, is employed as the macromolecular substance 8. Consequently even if fluid is confined in the through-hole 5 because of closure of the ball 2, leakage of fluid can be prevented because the opening of the through-hole 5 has been choked by macromolecular substance 8. |
