PURPOSE:To eliminate the decrease of yield by a method wherein a winding reel is raised following the increase of the diameter of wound roll and veneer of plywood is successively wound up. CONSTITUTION:An elevator 21 is installed below a reel stand 20 and a calculation device 24 which forces said elevator 21 to rise in response to the increase of the diameter of wound roll during the winding operation is installed on a pump 25 controlling said elevator 21. By this constitution, a carrying-in conveyer can be set almost horizontally, a winding reel can be raised up along the vertical line by the increased amount of diameter of wound roll, and so the slipping of veneer of plywood can be eliminated. Therefore, splitting of veneer of plywood and looseness of wound roll caused from the disagreement between the cutting rate and winding rate during winding can be avoided and the decrease of yield can be eliminated. |
