PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for furnace purge and to shorten the starting time by opening a damper for opening or closing a bypass duct for discharging exhaust gas directly to a chimney at the time of starting, and closing the damper at the time of normal operation. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas disposing system is constituted by an air preheater 11, a denitrification device 12, an electric dust collector 13, an induced blower 14, a regulating blower 16, a duct 17 and a chimney 19, which are provided successively in an exhaust gas flowpath of a main boiler body 6, a bypass duct 17A which connects the duct 17 to an exhaust gas outlet of the main boiler body 6 and a damper 18 provided in the bypass duct 17A. At a time when the boiler is started, the bypass damper 18 is opened, and an FDF 1 is started, combustible parts remaining within a furnace 5 and the main boiler body 6 are discharged out of the chimney 19 through the bypass damper. After the completion of the purge, the damper 18 is closed and the ignition operation is started. |
