PURPOSE:To have an interaction with sentence data inputted to a sentence input and sentence response system with input and output of a sentence response in a natural language itself by using an artificial intelligent programming method in this system. CONSTITUTION:First, a Japanese-language input/output program and a sentence response program in an electronic device such as a word processor or the like are started. When programs are started, plural sentences are inputted preliminarily as knowledge information to a microprocessor 7 by a keyboard 6, a floppy disc 5, or the like. Next, when an interrogative sentence is inputted, an answer senterce is outputted, and sentences are displayed on a CRT 10. In this case, the end of the input sentence is compared in accordance with inputted sentences in the natural language by declarative sentence end dictionary, an interrogative sentence end dictionary, a cut-off word dictionary, etc. As the result, the input sentence is divided to groups of points of sentence each of which only a point of sentence required for logic development is the main in, and they are stored together with information required for control of individual processing. Thus, a person can have an interaction with the device in a language near the natural language.
