PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and adjustment by sorting and accumulating papers in an accumulating part in accordance with a false output in the test mode for each supply of paper to make it possible to confirm a sorting function and a totalizing function without cash. CONSTITUTION:In a fixed detection mode, a selecting circuit 131 in a control part selects a program in an ROM132 to output one kind of discrimination result which is supplied from a denomination discriminating circuit 16. In a cyclic false detection output mode, a denomination signal is outputted as a false output periodically each time when a detection signal is supplied from a photodetector 156. In a random false detection output mode, the denomination signal is outputted as the false output at random each time when the detection signal is supplied from the photodetector 156. The accumulation state of sorting and accumulation in a temporary accumulating part is checked to judge whether sorting and accumulation are performed correctly or not. |
