<p>The invention concerns a system for providing against accident resulting from high tensions in a trawler cable, so as to avoid accidents, such as the trawler being capsized. It comprises tension detecting means (1) for a trawler cable (7), means for detecting trim (2) of the boat, an alarm system (4) and a cutter (5) controlled either directly by the tension detecting means, either by electronic means, or by a blow switch (6).
