FEEDING MECHANISM OF RECORDING PAPER

PURPOSE:To prevent rupture of jammed paper, etc. by provding an intermediate receiving tray for double-face copying slidably in a paper discharging direction with respect to a recording part. CONSTITUTION:There are parallel rails in a stand 21 so that a recording paper holding part 26 can be slided integrally with a reverse feeder 18 and a sorter 19 for recording paper along the rails in the paper discharging direction. The manual sliding of the part 26 by unlocking the same or the automatic sliding thereof by a motor, etc. is possible. When the paper jams near a receiving tray 20, the operator slides the part 26 to the position of the chain line in the direction of an arrow A and a substantial space can be assured between the tray 20 and a body 1. Since the space above the holding part 26 is open, the easy disposition of the jam is made possible.
