DATA LINK SYSTEM OF PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To attain the parallel processing with plural programmable controllers by connecting these controllers with a data link transmission line and transferring data to each other among them. CONSTITUTION:A memory 12 for communication control information is divided into (n) parts in response to the maximum number of divisions of a data memory 10 for data link. The data number to be allotted to a data memory area 10- 1 is registered to an area 12-1-a of the memory 12. While the office number of a programmable controller PC which uses the area 10-1 for transmission is registered to an area 12-1-b. Then 0 is registered to the area 10-1 since the PC=0 is used for transmission (black dot). In addition, a PC which is required to receive the transfer data of the area 10-1 is registered to an area 12-1-c. In such a way, the memory 12 is provided to the PCs connected in parallel to each other. Then a transmission/reception control circuit 8 transfers the memory 10 among PCs based on the contents of the memory 12.
