PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition capable of imparting slipperiness without lowering various coating film properties, having excellent transparency and gloss, and useful especially for the coating of leather, etc., by adding a specific amount of minute spheres of crosslinked polymer composed mainly of styrene and methyl methacrylate and having a specific particle diameter to the base paint composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective paint composition can be prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a paint (solid basis) with (B) 0.3-10pts.wt., preferably 1-5pts.wt. of minute spheres of crosslinked polyme composed mainly of styrene and/or methyl methacrylate and having an average particle diameter of 1-50mu. The above polymer is obtained e.g. by the copolymerization of (i) a monomer mixture composed mainly of styrene and/or methacrylic acid and if necessary <=30wt% of other ethylenic unsaturated monomer and (ii) preferably 2-8wt% of a polyfunctional monomer (preferably divinylbenzene).
