PURPOSE:To forcus on an optional object by a user's selection even in case of the presence of plural objects to be photographed by constituting so that a lens moved to one maximum part of focus voltage is moved forcibly to the vicinity of other desired maximum part. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be photographed, which has been led in so as to be focused is an object A, and an object to be photographed which a user desires to focus is an object B, the user turns on a ''front'' switch 19A. This switch variation outputs a signal for moving a lens 1 to the infinite direction to a driving signal generating means 58 through a switching variation detecting means 60 and a minimum passing means 56. As a result, the lens 1 moves in the direction toward the infinite until passing through the minimum point. When the lens passes through the minimum point, it is detected by the minimum detecting means 56, this driving is switched to driving and top detection by a top detecting means 55, and subsequently, the lens 1 is led into the maximum point. In this way, even in case of the presence of plural objects to be photographed, an optional object can be focused. |
