PURPOSE:To fix easily and exactly an optical fiber without using an adhesive agent, and to shorten remarkably an assembly time by pressing an elastic conical member provided with a center hole for idle-inserting the optical fiber, toward a tapered hole of a cylindrical member. CONSTITUTION:A jacket 4 of an optical cord is inserted through the second cylindrical member 13, an optical fiber 11 is idle-inserted into center holes 6, 9 of the first cylindrical member 8 and a conical member 10, a tension member 14 is inserted between the conical member 10 and the cylindrical member 13, and the cylindrical member 13 is screwed into the conical member 8 and clamped. The elastic conical member 10 is pressed in the thinning direction of a tapered hole 7 by a stepped part 13a of the cylindrical member 13, and the center hole 9 into which the optical fiber 11 has been idle-inserted is clamped and deformed, and fixes the optical fiber 11. The tension member 14 is fixed between the stepped part 13a and the conical member 10. |
