PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement in stability of operation, by a method wherein an arm provided with an axle is turned inward centering around a supporting part and a wheel is made to displace angularly in the direction of toe- in, when side force is applied to the wheel at the time of turning of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A front end part of a suspension arm 2 is fixed to a supporting component 1 on a vehicular body rockably through a pivot 3. The rear of an arm 8 having an axle 6 is fixed to the rear of the suspension arm 2 rockably through a vertical shaft 5, and the front of the arm 8 is fixed to a bracket 9 provided on the suspension arm 2 with a bolt 11 and washer 12 through elastic bodies 10, 10' so that the arm 8 is difficult to displace in the vertical direction and is displacable around the vertical shaft 5. With this construction, when side force F is applied to a wheel 7 at the time of turning of a vehicle, stability of operation can be improved as the arm 8 is turned inwardly centering around the vertical shaft 5 while the elastic bodies 10, 10' is being deformed by the arm 8 and the wheel 7 is made to displace angularly in the direction of toe-in. |
