The present invention relates to a sleeve for a rock drill and a rod unit using the same. The sleeve is coupled to a main rod for the rock drill first and second coupling rods respectively arranged on the upper and lower ends and are formed in the shape of a tube having a hollow part to have the first screw coupling rod inserted therein. The sleeve includes: a sank body which is arranged on the upper end of the hollow unit and has screw threads formed on the inner peripheral surface to establish a screw coupling with the second screw coupling rod of the adjacent main rod; and a gap adjusting unit which is also arranged on the upper end of the hollow unit to adjust the gap distance of the main rod and the sank body while supporting the sank body against the main rod. The sleeve for the rock drill and the rod unit using the same have the sleeve which can adjust a coupling location in a longitudinal direction of the main rod to adjust the length of the entire rod unit even when the screw threads of the main rod cut an abrasion part, thereby easily storing the rod without replacing a rod storage means. |
