PURPOSE:To provide the titled copying material for an overstruck-type ink ribbon with which high-quality printing can be conducted with low noise, wherein an ink layer consisting of a resin, an oil poorly compatible with the resin and a coloring substance is provided on a film base. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer having a sponge construction and a thickness of 8-30 formed of a kneaded mixture of a resin such as polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl acetate, an oil poorly compatible with the resin, such as caster oil, beef tallow oil or a mineral oil, and a pigment such as carbon black is provided on a polyester film having a thickness of 6-35mum, preferably, one biaxially stretched and then stretched in the longitudinal direction. If required, an adhesive layer having a thickness of 0.5-3mum is intermediately provided between the film and the ink layer. EFFECT:An ink can be transferred even with low printing energy, and strain of the base and ground contamination of a paper can be prevented from occurring. |
