STYRENE RESIN COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent mold release characteristics and suitable for use in injection molding or injection blow molding, consisting of a styrene resin, a specified ester and a higher fatty acid metal salt or an amide. CONSTITUTION:0.01-1wt% ester (e.g. stearyl stearate) derived from a carboxylic acid and a monohydric or dihydric satd. aliph. alcohol and 0.01-1wt% higher fatty acid metal salt (e.g. sodium laurate) or amide (e.g. stearamide) are added to a styrene resin such as a styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer. EFFECT:The compsn. does not form any deposit on core in a long-term continuous operation over one month, can retain a good mold release effect over a wide molding temperature range and gives moldings having low permanent set and excellent impact strength.
