PURPOSE:To understand easily the relative positional relation between a semiconductor laser and a condenser lens and to adjust precisely the position by forming an aperture to an optical stand to project directly the light passed through the condenser lens to the outside of the optical stand. CONSTITUTION:The size of each part is set so that the light delivered from a semiconductor laser 1 is converted approximately into parallel beams through a condenser lens 8 when the center of a control hole 29 is coincident with the center of a concave groove 30. A circular aperture 31 is formed to an optical base 21 at the opposite side of the lens 8 to the laser 1 and also at a position where the axial core and main axis of the lens 8 are coincident with each other. The aperture 31 has such a diameter than can transmit the parallel beams converted by the lens 8 with virtually no vignetting. The light emitting position of the laser 1 is set on the main axis of the lens 8, and a semiconductor laser holding plate 22 is shifted for control in the direction vertical to the main axis of the lens 8. Then the plate 22 is fixed to the base 21 by screws 23 and 24. The distance between the laser 1 and the lens 8 is controlled by shifting the lens 8 toward its main axis.
