<p>PURPOSE:To make a portable computer device small-sized to make it easy so that the user carries it, by providing a storage part for an acoustic coupler in a computer body and storing the acoustic coupler in the storage part when the computer body is carried. CONSTITUTION:When an acoustic coupler 10 is not used or a computer body 1 is carried, the acoustic coupler 10 has a transmitting part 11 stored in a storing recessed part 7 and has a receiving part 12 stored in a storing recessed part 6. When the coupler 10 is used to use the computer body 1 as a data terminal, the coupler 10 is taken out from a storage part 5 and is placed near the computer body 1, and the receiver of a telephone set is so put that it is matched to the transmitting part 11 and the receiving part 12 of the coupler 10, and data or the like is transmitted and received between this computer and another computer device through a telephone line. Thus, the storage part for the acoustic coupler is provided in the computer body to make the computer device small-sized and easy to carry.</p> |
