The present invention provides a light emitting device with improved reliability. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the light emitting device includes: a substrate; first and second electrode pads; multiple light emitting cells arranged on the substrate and arranged between the first and second electrode pads in a first direction on a straight line; and at least a connection wire electrically connecting the multiple light emitting cells. Each of the multiple light emitting cells includes a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductive semiconductor layer arranged in order on the substrate. The first electrode pad is connected to the second conductive semiconductor layer of the first light emitting cell, and the second electrode pad is connected to the first conductive semiconductor layer of the last light emitting cell. A connection wire electrically connects the first conductive semiconductor layer of one of the light emitting cells adjacent to each other and the second conductive semiconductor layer of the other. |
