<p>In a non-woven floor covering having an upper layer including fiber material, and therebelow a fiber-containing carrier layer containing connecting fibers interconnecting the layers, a plurality of individual fibrous strands are included in the upper layer; the strands are relatively thick in comparison to the thickness of the connecting fibers, and the connecting fibers penetrate the strands at least partially, so that the strands are passively-connected to the carrier layer.</p> |
