For the purpose of simpler construction of a vibration damper, it is proposed that the rubber body extend, originating from at least one end surface of the hub, in the direction of the corresponding mating surface of a vibrating ring, the hub being intended to have an approximately disc-shaped profile. In the region of the rubber connecting surfaces of the hub, further profilings in the form of bent tongues can be provided if required, which tongues result in better clamping. <IMAGE>
