<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the excess drop of the rotating speed of an engine by stopping generation when the rotating speed of the engine decreases lower than the prescribed reference rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 17 is closed to a start side contact S, a driver 15 applies a voltage to an armature coil 6. Thus, a generator 1 rotates as a motor to start an engine. A comparator 20 turns ON a transistor Tr7 and OFF the field current of a field coil 11 when the rotating speed of the engine from a rotating speed detector 19 is less than the slipping rotating speed. When the engine rotating speed exceeds the slipping rotating speed, the transistor Tr7 is turned OFF, and the field current of the coil 11 is controlled so that the following generating voltage becomes the set voltage.</p> |
