PURPOSE:To obtain good synchronization between a converter and a computer and stabilize display action of an electronic balance by determining conversion timing of an A/D converter by conversion permission signal supplied by a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Voltage corresponding to the weight from the strain gauge 1 of a load cell constituted of bridge of an electronic balance is amplified by an amplifier 3 and amplified voltage is added to an A/D converter 4. Output converted to digital by the converter 4 is supplied to a microcomputer 5. Clock pulse generators 6, 7 are provided independently in each of the converter 4 and computer 5 and specified program is executed by timing of clock pulse of the generators 6, 7. The computer 5 and converter 4 are connected by an output line 10, and a conversion permission signal E is supplied from the computer 5 to the converter 4. Action of the converter and computer 5 is synchronized, and operation of the display 9 of the electronic balance is stabilized.
