ATTACHMENT HEAD OF MACHINE TOOL

PURPOSE:To improve the accessibility to a work without arranging a rocking driving motor on the side wall of an attachment head by providing said rocking driving motor of the head on the saddle side from an indexing coupling. CONSTITUTION:An attachment head 50 is mounted on the lower end of a saddle 30. A head body 52 is rotatably supported within a casing 51 of the head 50 via a bearing 53, and a rockable swivel head 57 is provided within the body 52 taking an axis 56 as the center. A tool attaching spindle 58 is rotatably provided on the head 57 and rocked by a rocking driving servo motor 59. The motor 59 is provided without projecting from the side wall of the body 52, and has a proper magnitude to be housed in the concave part 31 of the saddle 30 along with a casing cover 61 with which said motor 59 is covered.
