PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform bias magnetic field over the entire region of a slant magnetic matter by packaging said magnetic matter into a package under the condition where a thin area of the wedge-shaped magnetic matter is magnetized with saturation, and then performing the overall demagnetization from outside of a shielding case. CONSTITUTION:For a ''Permalloy'' plate 11, the wedge-shaped and slant thin part is put on an iron core 14 and the demagnetization is performed with saturation in order to obtain a holding magnetic field. Thus a magnet 3 to which the bias magnetic field is unified over the entire region is packaged into a shielding case 1 together with the plate 11. Then a uniform adverse magnetic field is impressed to both the magnet 3 and the package 11 from outside of the case 1 to perform the overall demagnetization. In other words, a uniform magnetic field can be obtained just by setting the plate 11 only at the lower side and a flat ferrite plate 9 at the upper side respectively. |
