Title compds. (I; R=C1-8 alkyl; R1=R, C6-13 aryl; Y=II; R2=H; R; R3=C6-13 aryl; R4=H, R, Q=-o-, -NR2-; a=1-3; b=0-2; a+b=1-3) were prepd. by the reaction of D and C obtained from A and B. Thus, 27.7parts β,β-diphenyl-α-cyanoacrylic ehtylester and 0.3 part sodium emthylate were refluxed for 8.4 parts triethozysilane, and heated at 60oC for 1 hr in the presence of Pt catalyst to give 12.95 parts (3-tri-ethoxysilanepropyl)-β,β-diphenyl-α-cyanoacrylate.
