PURPOSE:To access files covering plural generations easily by forming a series generation file group storing data updated with time series and an index key representing a generation file group. CONSTITUTION:A main storage part 1 stores n programs P1-Pn. Files F1-F3 or the like are a generation file group obtained by updating the data with time series (D1 D2 D3). If a program, P1, of a device 1 accesses the file F1, the index key A and data D1 are informed to a control part 4. Receiving the information, the device 4 retrieves a table 5, extracts the file name F1 corresponding to the date data D1 included in the index key A and informs the extracted file name F1 to a processing part 3. After completing the preparation of access to the file F1, the device 3 starts the execution of the program P1 immediately. Since it is unnecessary to be conscious of the difference of generations of the files, access to the files can be easily performed. |
