In the device for producing a shrink tube, a first extruder (EX1) is provided for producing the crosslinkable tube layer, a heating device (EE) and a downstream expansion device (AE) being provided downstream of this extruder. Guide devices in contact with the shrink tube are provided both at the heating device (EE) as well as at the expansion device (AE). A second extruder (EX2) for the additional application of a thermoplastic outer tube layer (SR2) is provided after the first extruder (EX1) for producing the crosslinkable tube layer (SR1).
