In circuitry for addressing matrix elements having n row electrodes and m column electrodes, two feed lines are in each case provided for each row and/or column electrode. Between each feed line and the associated electrode, a capacitor is located. In each case 2ROOT n or 2ROOT m of these feed lines are connected to a common input. The number of inputs is preferably 2( 2ROOT n + 2ROOT m).
