PURPOSE:To derive an overall flow rate by a small-sized gravimeter by taking out through a rotary valve a part of grains whose occupied ratio in the overall flow rate is known in advance, and measuring it by a measuring part provided under the rotary valve. CONSTITUTION:Grains which flow in from a throw-in port 18 and flow down to one chamber 7a of a rotating rotary valve 3 flow down into the first inside hopper 20 of a bush 2 through the first opening part 10 when the chamber 7a is opposed to the opening part 10, and they are fed to a measuring part 1. In the measuring part 1, weight of the grains which flow down into a vessel 22 is measured by a load cell 23, and thereafter, a valve 24 is opened, and the grains are discharged to an outside hopper 19 from the second inside hopper 21, and discharged from the outside hopper 19 together with grains which do not pass through the measuring part 1. The rotary valve 3 rotates at a constant speed, therefore, an overall flow rate is derived from a revolving speed of the rotary valve which rotates in the time to be derived, and weight of the grains, which is measured during that time. |
